Admission Process 2026–27
Admissions are now open for Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary Sections for the Academic Year 2026–2027. Join Gajera Vidyabhavan and provide your child with a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success.
👶 Pre-Primary Admission
Children from all walks of life are admitted without any discrimination, subject to the availability of seats. Admissions are open for Playgroup, Jr. KG, Sr. KG and Balvatika in Gujarati Medium, English Medium and CBSE.
Admissions are granted according to the age criteria prescribed by the Government of Gujarat. Parents are requested to ensure that the child's Date of Birth matches the eligibility criteria before applying.

According to the Government policy for Academic Year 2026–27, children completing 6 years of age on or before 1 June 2026 will be eligible for admission in Standard 1.
📄 Documents Required
Parents are requested to bring the following original documents along with photocopies at the time of admission.
📜 Birth Certificate
Original Birth Certificate (English Version) with one Xerox copy.
📷 Photographs
Two passport-size photographs of the student and one passport-size photograph each of the father and mother.
🪪 Identity Documents
Aadhaar Card of Student & Parents, Leaving Certificate, Passport (if available), Blood Group Certificate and Address Proof.
🏦 Bank Passbook
Photocopy of Father's Bank Passbook.

🏫 Primary Admission
Admission to Standard 1
Students studying in the Pre-Primary Section of Gajera Vidyabhavan are normally promoted to Standard 1 after completing the admission formalities and payment of the prescribed fees.
If vacancies remain available, admissions are granted according to the following priority.
🏫 Internal Transfer
Students transferring from other Gajera branches.
👨👩👧 Siblings
Immediate brothers or sisters of existing Gajera students.
🎓 Other Students
Eligible students from other schools based on seat availability.
Admissions to Standard 1 generally begin during the month of April every academic year.
Admission to Standards 2–8
Admissions to Standards 2 through 8 are granted purely on the basis of available seats in the respective classes. The admission process generally begins during the month of May.
Parents are advised to register their child's name by the end of April for better consideration.

🎓 Secondary & Higher Secondary Admission
Admission to Standard 9
Students studying in the Primary Section of Gajera Vidyabhavan are normally promoted to Standard 9 after completing all admission formalities and payment of the prescribed fees.
If vacancies remain available, admissions are granted according to the following priorities.
🏫 Internal Transfer
Students transferring from other Gajera Vidyabhavan branches are given first preference.
👨👩👧 Siblings
Immediate brothers or sisters of existing Gajera Vidyabhavan students are given priority.
📚 Other Schools
Eligible students from other schools may be admitted depending upon seat availability.
Admissions for Standard 9 generally begin during the end of April after the Primary Section results are declared.
Admission to Standard XI (Science & Commerce)
Admissions to Standard XI – Science and Standard XI – Commerce are granted as per the guidelines issued by the District Education Office, Surat, after declaration of the Gujarat SSC Board Results.
Admission to Standard X & XII
Admissions to Standard X and Standard XII (Science / Commerce) are offered only if seats remain available in the respective classes.
The admission process generally begins during the month of May after declaration of the respective examination results.
