Shree H. J. Gajera English Medium School, Primary Section, radiated patriotic fervor as it orchestrated a vibrant 77th Independence Day celebration on 15th August, 2023. The event encapsulated the essence of freedom through an array of activities that ignited the spirit of nationalism. The school’s assembly came alive with the unfurling of the tricolor flag, a symbolic gesture of India’s hard-fought independence. The morning witnessed a symphony of disciplines, showcasing the learners’ talents and dedication. The day begun with March past, welcome speech for the revered guests, flag hoisting which was followed by the cultural program. The dance performances, a fusion of traditional and contemporary styles, exuded energy and unity.
Alongwith all Principals, vice-principals, educators, learners, parents and non-teaching staff, distinguished guests adorned the occasion, adding a touch of prestige and inspiration. Retired Army officers J.M Vaghani and P.B Mekawan graced the event, honoring the sacrifices made for freedom. The presence of Mayank Ogriwal, a Chartered Accountant, Vipul Desai, an Advocate and Social Worker, and Tejas Bhatt, HDFC Cluster Head, symbolized various avenues contributing to India’s growth. Highlighting the importance of giving back, Dinesh Jogani, Vice President of the Eye Donation Bank, reinforced the significance of philanthropy. The event served as a reminder that freedom encompasses responsibility, community, and progress. The celebration at our school underscored the nation’s unity in diversity and the continual journey towards progress.
