The Role Play competition based on the theme “National Leaders” was conducted on 9th August 2024 in as a part of Independence Day Celebration of India. The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend confidence in the students but also to make them learn about the fighters who sacrificed their lives for freedom by giving them an opportunity to speak in front of an audience.
The children dressed up as famous Indian Leaders and freedom fighters like Indira Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Rani Laxmi Bai and other great leaders. The competition was conducted in two rounds. The preliminary round where two children from each division were selected based on the criteria of grooming, relevance to the theme, clarity of speech and stage confidence and the final round where three winners were announced.
Parents contributed very enthusiastically by dressing up children according to the theme and students participated with great joy. The entire young maestro who took part in the competition made it a grand success.
