On Kisan Divas, the students of Shree H.J. Gajera English Medium School’s primary section came together to honor the backbone of our nation – our farmers. The day was a vibrant celebration filled with learning, creativity, and respect for the farming community.
Dressed as little farmers, the children embodied the essence of rural life.. The students proudly displayed the simplicity and hard work that define a farmer’s life.
A beautifully arranged farm display stole the show. The children explained each component with enthusiasm, showcasing their understanding of farm life and agricultural processes. Interactive sessions were held to educate students about traditional and modern farming techniques. Teachers emphasized the impact of sustainable farming on the environment and future generations.
To connect farming with nutrition, a segment on winter foods was organized. The students learned about seasonal produce like carrots, radishes, turnips, and leafy greens. They explored their nutritional benefits and the methods farmers use to grow these crops during colder months.
The celebration of Kisan Divas was more than an event; it was a heartfelt tribute to our farmers and a reminder of their invaluable contribution to society.
