Republic Day is celebrated annually on 26 January to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India on January 26, 1950. While India gained independence from the British Raj in 1947, it wasn’t until January 26, 1950, that the Constitution of India came into effect, and the country became a sovereign state, declaring it a republic. The day was celebrated with patriotic zeal and zest at Gajera Vidyabhavan Katargam.
The celebration commenced with a welcome speech followed by introduction of the Chief guests. Mr. Ashok Salunke, Dr. Chetan Shah, Ms. Kavita Kansara, Mr. Yogaesh Ausura, Mr. Manmohan, Mr. N.K.Desai, Mr. Suman Patel, Mr. Haresh Narola, Ms. Priyanka Jain and other dignitaries were honored with memento gift.
The flag hoisting was done by our respected trustee Shree Chunibhai Gajera followed by singing of the National Anthem. Honourable Trustee Shri Chunibhai Gajera.
Exciting cultural programmmes were organized to make this day a memorable one. There was a series of patriotic dance performance which thrilled the event with patriotic fervor. On Occasion of Republic Day Gajera Vidyabhavan Katargam has organised a blood donation camp to spread the importance and awareness regarding blood donation.
The mission of Gajera Trust is to spread the philosophy of “One World, One Happiness” in order to improve lives and give others the ability to do the same. The Trust always contributes for the welfare of society and it has an exclusive way to show its love and concern by giving cheques to the members of those families who have lost the only earning member of their family.
The learners took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The programme ended with thanks.
