In the bustling hub of a school, emergencies can strike at any moment. Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, claiming hundreds of thousands of lives each year. Whether you are a teacher shaping young minds, a diligent student, or a devoted school body of workers, staying prepared for a sudden crisis is essential. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a critical life-saving skill that has the power to save lives during sudden cardiac emergencies. As more schools across the country incorporate CPR training into their curricula, it’s becoming increasingly clear that teaching these skills to students is not just beneficial, but essential. With the increasing prevalence of cardiac-related emergencies, especially in younger populations due to underlying health conditions, it has become vital for students to learn CPR. CPR training equips young people with the knowledge and confidence to act in emergencies, whether at school, at home, or in their communities. This comprehensive guide explores the reasons why CPR and first aid training should be a mandatory part of school education, the broader implications of such training, and the lifelong benefits for students.
It was a wonderful experience for the students as they were attuned with the Traffic Rules followed in the country and get awareness about CPR. Addressing to the young students, he explained about the needs of awareness among the students and role they can play in reducing the number of accidents caused on roads. Through this workshop we pledge to contribute in building safer roads. Together, we can make a difference!
