Assessment System
Primary (Standard 1 to 8)
- In Standard 6 & 7 for Sanskrit evaluation will be as 40 + 40 + 20 ( 40 marks Formative assessment with 6 activity based or objective type test through out the year , 40 marks written exam at the end of they year and 20 marks internals
- In Standard 6,7 & 8 for subjects like Drawing Computer and P.E. will have 50 marks Theory and 50 marks Practical exam at the end of the year
- In Standard 6,7 & 8 for G.K. exam will be at the end of the year for 50 marks
- In addition to above Academic Evaluation Student’s PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT also be observed throughout the year and marks will be given out of 400.
Secondary Section
Assessment System for Class IX
School based Comprehensive Evaluation is followed for assessment in Class IX. In this system, assessment is done in the form of Formative Assessment and Summative Assessment.
First Term
- Formative Assessment – 1 (FA1) – 10 Marks
- Formative Assessment – 2 (FA2) – 10 Marks
- Summative Assessment – 1 (SA1) – 30 Marks
Second Term
- Formative Assessment – 3 (FA3) – 10 Marks
- Formative Assessment – 4 (FA4) – 10 Marks
- Summative Assessment – 2 (SA2) – 30 Marks
Assessment System for Class X
Students give Board exams conducted at the end of the year by Gujarat Secondary Education Board (www.gseb.org). This exams is conducted for 100 marks for all subjects (during March every year) and weightage is 70 %, also 30% Weightage will be based on School based Comprehensive Evaluation (in the form of FA) and two written exams ( as SA) as follows.
First Term
- Formative Assessment – 1 (FA1) – 05 Marks
- Formative Assessment – 2 (FA2) – 05 Marks
- Summative Assessment – 1 (SA1) – 05 Marks
Second Term
- Formative Assessment – 3 (FA3) – 05 Marks
- Formative Assessment – 4 (FA4) – 05 Marks
- Summative Assessment – 2 (SA2) – 05 Marks
Higher Secondary Section
Science Stream
Complete Curriculum/Assessment for Science stream is distributed to Standard XI-Sci. and XII-Sci. XI-Science exams will be conducted at school level and XII-Science exams will be conducted by the Gujarat Secondary Education Board (www.gseb.org) at the end of the year in March.
General Stream
Complete Curriculum/Assessment for General Stream is distributed in the form of two year in Standard XI-Com. and XII-Com.
XI – Commerce
Three exams are conducted in XI-Com. At school level namely First, Second and Final Assessment during the whole academic year.
XII – Commerce
In XII-Com., First Assessment and Second Assessment (also known as Preliminary exam) is conducted with XI-Com. at school level. End of the year Exam will be conducted by the Gujarat Secondary Education Board (www.gseb.org) in the month of March.
