Elocution Competition

On the solemn and patriotic occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, our school proudly organized an Elocution Competition on 26th July 2025 (Saturday) for students of Classes 9 to 12. The event was conducted to honour the valour, dedicationand sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces during the Kargil War of 1999.

With the theme centred around patriotism, national prideand bravery, students expressed their heartfelt tributes through powerful speeches. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, where each speaker delivered a well-prepared two-minute speech in English. Topics ranged from “The Spirit of Kargil” and “Heroes Who Never Returned” to “Captain VikramBatra: The Face of Courage” and “What Kargil Vijay Diwas Means to the Youth Today.”

The judging panel included senior faculty members who evaluated the participants based on content, language, clarity, confidenceand delivery. Each participant impressed the audience with their sincere thoughts, strong voice modulationand deep respect for the Indian Army.

The atmosphere in the auditorium was charged with emotion and patriotism. The audience was visibly moved as the young speakers remembered the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation. It was heartening to see the students connect deeply with the event’s purpose and express their gratitude towards our real-life heroes.

The winners were felicitated with certificates and words of encouragement. However, the true reward lay in the collective remembrance and pride each student carried forward.

The competition successfully fulfilled its goal of instilling a sense of national pride and responsibility among learners. It was a fitting tribute to the spirit of Kargil, reminding everyone that courage, loyaltyand sacrifice are the true foundations of a strong nation.
