DANCE COMPETITION in school is not just about trophies- it is a highly rewarding and worthwhile activity for the students of all ages. “Irrespective of whether the student aims to be an artist in future or not” – a mere dance competition can help to develop various fundamental skill in a child that will useful in the long term.

Competitions are the best way to build the confidence in children. Keeping this in mind, GROUP DANCE COMPETITION was conducted in Shree H. J. Gajera English Medium School, Primary Section, Katargam for STD 5 to 7 students to enhance the confidence in students. The final round was conducted on 18th August, 2023.True to the theme “Patriotism”, the vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances and this was a reflection of their passion and hard work. The choreography, rhythm, synchronization and presentation of all the students were very good. The competition was judged by the Dance mentors. The competition was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The little dancers won everyone’s heart and were applauded. It reflected the efforts of the children and parents put in along with the support of the teachers. It was a fun-filled competition.
