At Shree H.J. Gajera English Medium School, Katargam, Ashadhi Poonam was joyfully celebrated as Guru Purnima, commemorating the birth anniversary of Guru Ved Vyas.
The festival took place in the vibrant courtyard of the primary section, where both students and teachers participated with great enthusiasm. The celebration began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and a soulful Guru Vandana, graced by the presence of the principal, vice-principal, teachers, and students.
A student from Standard 8 eloquently shared the significance of Guru Purnima, highlighting the role of teachers as guiding forces. This was followed by a devotional shloka recited by a Standard 5 student, and a thought-provoking play performed by a Standard 6 student.
