International Women’s Day is celebrated globally on March 8 every year to celebrate the contribution of women in various spheres of life be it social, economic, political or cultural. The theme for 2024 is ‘Invest in Women: Accelerate progress.
To honour the womanhood, International Women’s Day was celebrated today on March 7th, 2024 in school Conference Hall, dedicating the day to all the strong women in the world. This day was filled with hues of pinks as the lady educators were dressed in saree for the special occasion of Women’s Day at school, making these already beautiful souls look even more elegant.
A special celebration was organized for all the women members of the school. The Event started with great jubilant response of all the female faculty members of the school. The event was enthusiastically hosted by the anchors. The program began with the prayer and a motivational speech embracing the importance of women in life’s various domains.
It also included scintillating poem, songs, followed by catwalk, impromptu dance, mimicry, hook steps of famous songs, movie dialogues.
The principal ma’am expressed her gratitude and appreciated the efforts of the extraordinary women- the teaching and non- teaching staff who demonstrate acts of kindness, compassion, leadership and determination.
May the marvellous feminine energy and aura cover the world with its warmth and greatness and may we celebrate women every day, in every sphere of life.
