“Life is like a flute.
It may have many holes and emptiness.
But if you work on it carefully,
It can play magical melodies.”
In a heart-warming initiative to educate young minds about the significance of flute decoration competition, Shree H.J. Gajera English Medium School, Primary Section, recently organized a captivating flute decoration competition for learners in grade 3rd and 4th.
On the occasion of Janmashtami, we celebrated this festival by engaging the learners in this competition. Children enjoyed a lot while doing the activity in school. The flutes were brought by the learners from home and they decorated them in bright colours and decorative materials. It was very difficult to choose the winners as all have showcased their best talents in the art work.
Learners of grade 1 and 2 came in free dress and enjoyed the day by colouring and painting beautiful KRISHNA as per the guidance given by our art educators. While the learners of grade 5th to 7th took part in Matki Decoration Competition which was organized to develop creativity, to work confidently with a variety of materials, to develop fine motor skills, and to know the importance of the festival Janmashtami. The children had pre-planned their patterns and had come prepared with all the materials which they required for making them. Children decorated the Matki with beautiful mirrors, stars, and ribbons. They stuffed cotton in it to represent white butter.
Overall both the competitions were enjoyed by the learners. It was a successful event.
