“Maker’s Day 2023-24 Unleashes Innovation and Creativity Extravaganza at Shree H J Gajera English Medium School, Primary Section, Katargam”
This past Sunday, our school campus was transformed into a hub of innovation and creativity as it hosted a spectacular Mega Event for the learners. The event, held on December 17, 2023, from 9 am to 6 pm, witnessed an impressive turnout of over 450 participants and drew more than 8,000 visitors.
The Mega Event showcased a myriad of activities that celebrated both modern ingenuity and traditional Indian heritage. The learners displayed their prowess in Science with captivating science models and engaged in a thrilling Robo Racing competition that left the audience in awe. Adding a cultural touch to the event, there were mesmerizing Gujarati folk dance performances that beautifully portrayed the rich heritage of the region.
The creative energy soared as students took part in a short film-making competition, showcasing their storytelling skills on screen. The part of Kavya Pathan and Kavya Gaan based on the theme of Gujarati culture also stole the show. Meanwhile, the mono-acting competition brought out the dramatic flair of the young talents. To encourage entrepreneurial spirit, a business start-up competition provided a platform for budding young minds to present their innovative business ideas. The models depicting the vivid heritage sites of India were loved by all.
The event also catered to the taste buds of the attendees with diverse food stalls and offered entertainment through game stalls. A unique creative selfie zone allowed participants and visitors alike to capture the memorable moments of the day.
The Event not only fostered a spirit of healthy competition but also created an atmosphere of joy and learning. It served as a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing holistic development in its learners.
