NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY

National Mathematics Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on 22nd December 2025 at our school to honour the birth anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. The day aimed to create interest in mathematics and help students understand that maths is not just about numbers, but also about creativity, logic, and real-life application.

The celebration witnessed active participation from students of various classes. A variety of engaging and educational activities were organised to make learning mathematics fun and meaningful. Students presented charts and working models explaining different mathematical concepts. Creative maths-based dramas, songs, storytelling, and debates were also performed, which beautifully connected mathematics with daily life. Special activity corners such as Maths Games, Puzzles, Vedic Maths, and Logical Reasoning Tasks attracted many students and encouraged teamwork and problem-solving skills. Through these activities, students showcased their creativity, confidence, and deep understanding of mathematical ideas.

Teachers guided and motivated students throughout the programme, ensuring that every learner got an opportunity to participate and express themselves. The celebration helped remove the fear of mathematics and inspired students to look at the subject with curiosity and confidence. The National Mathematics Day 2025 celebration was a memorable and enriching experience that truly reflected the spirit of learning through creativity and collaboration.
