The Annual Sports Meet was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at Shree H. J. Gajera English Medium Primary School, Katargam, on Thursday, 18th December 2025.
The programme commenced with the gracious arrival of distinguished guests: Mr. Viral Patel, DSO (Ramat Gamat Adhikari), Mr. Soyeb Murad, President of Surat District Athletic Association, Ms. Twisha Kakadiya, International Taekwondo player, Mr. Amit Patel, Pramukh of Vyam Shikshak Sangh, Mr. Kanubhai Rathod, District Senior Coach, Dr. Prakash Sadhu from Kiran Hospital and Mrs. Devilaben Mistry, Member of Surat City Women’s Safety Committee. The event was further honoured by the presence of Trustee Shri Chunibhai Gajera Sir, Academic Directors Shri Jayesh Patel Sir and Mrs. Pratima Soni, and Sports Director Mrs. Gulab Ma’am. Their guidance and unwavering support added great value to the occasion.
The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of sports in a child’s overall development. Students presented a vibrant array of performances, including a disciplined March Past, yoga display, energetic dance performance, oath-taking ceremony, and various track events. More than 1,600 students enthusiastically participated in different sports races, showcasing remarkable energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
With the dedicated efforts of the school management and the wholehearted support of the teaching and non-teaching staff, the Annual Sports Meet was conducted smoothly and successfully. The event played a vital role in nurturing values such as self-confidence, discipline, cooperation, and leadership among the students.
