After the felicitation, we proceeded to the main event of Flag Hoisting ceremony. Starting with a parade by our school’s NCC Cadets the guest of honour was invited to unfurl the Indian Flag. The National Anthem was played and all of those who were present with a pride in their eyes and smile on their face sung it and saluted to the flag.
The cultural celebration thus begun with various energetic performances by the learners and in between which our Trustee Shri Chunibhai Gajera donated a cheque to the families of the departed souls who were a part of Our School’s trust. The Chief Guest too gave a speech which infused a tremendous energy among the audience. The difference in the event which we talked about earlier was that, this year we have awarded our learners who participated and/or won a rank in the national and international sports events of all categories. The day was a day of pride and honour for all who were present. It was really a momentous day.
