On 29th November 2024, Gajera Vidhyabhavan, Utran Branch, organized an enlightening Reverse Painting Workshop. The workshop aimed to introduce students and teachers to the unique and intricate art form of reverse painting, where the artwork is created by painting on the back of a transparent surface, typically glass.
The workshop organized with Objectives– (a) To familiarize participants with the history and techniques of reverse painting.(b)To provide hands-on experience in creating reverse paintings.(c)To encourage creativity and artistic expression among students.
The workshop has been organised as mentioned order- (A) Introduction to Reverse Painting: The workshop began with a brief introduction to the history and significance of reverse painting. The art teacher explained how this technique has been used in various cultures over the centuries.(B)Demonstration: A live demonstration was conducted, showcasing the step-by-step process of reverse painting. Participants learned about the materials required and the techniques used to achieve the desired effects.(C)Hands-On Practice: Students and teachers were given the opportunity to create their own reverse paintings. The hands-on session allowed participants to experiment with different techniques and colours, bringing their creative ideas to life.(4)Feedback and Discussion: The workshop concluded with a feedback session, where participants shared their experiences and discussed the challenges they faced. The art teacher provided constructive feedback and tips for improvement.
