Vasant Panchami: A Celebration of Knowledge, Art, and New Beginnings
Vasant Panchami marks the arrival of spring (Vasant Ritu) and is celebrated with great joy and devotion across India. This auspicious festival is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, wisdom, music, dance, and learning.
Vasant Panchami holds special importance for music and dance, as Goddess Saraswati is the symbol of art and education. A peaceful and devotional Saraswati Pooja was performed in the school premises. Students place their books, notebooks, and learning materials near Goddess Saraswati and prayed for wisdom and success. Teachers guided students to chant simple prayers and explained the importance of the festival.
Learners of Std I and II celebrated this beautiful day with enthusiasm, devotion, and creativity. The young students participated in classical and cultural dance performances, devotional songs, and rhythmic actions. Through music and dance, children express joy, confidence, and devotion while developing creativity and stage presence.
