A Celebration of Freedom, Patriotism and National Pride
The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at Shree H. J. Gajera English Medium School, Primary Section – Katargam. This year’s celebration was especially significant as the nation also commemorated 150 years of Vande Mataram, a timeless symbol of patriotism and love for the motherland.
he celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Ishwarbhai Narola (Corporator, Surat), Ms. Bhavishaben Patel (Corporator, Surat), Mr. Anil Mardia Jain (Bicycle Mayor of Surat), and Mr. Vinubhai Kathiriya, whose presence added great honour to the occasion. The celebration was further enriched by the presence of the school’s National Sports Players and Principals, whose achievements and guidance continue to inspire the students.
The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and National Song. The school campus was filled with patriotic fervour as students, teachers, and the honoured guests came together to honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and celebrate the spirit of independent India.
NCC and House wise parade was presented by the students as part of Unity and Discipline. Students were inspired to uphold these values and to contribute positively towards building a stronger and progressive India.
The memorable celebration concluded with a renewed sense of pride and patriotism among everyone present.
