Our morning didn’t start with the usual quiet routine—instead, it kicked off with a briefing session for our student-teachers. The daily plan, timetable, and instructions were laid out, and then our “new faculty” took over. Watching students step into their teachers’ shoes and walk into classrooms from a completely new angle set the tone for the entire day.

From taking lectures and managing classrooms to guiding their peers and answering questions, student-teachers got a real taste of what it takes to stand on the other side of the desk. Experiencing the effort, patience, and preparation that goes into every single class gave all of us a whole new appreciation for what our teachers do daily.

Once the lectures were wrapped up, the real celebration began! We brought everyone together for a vibrant afternoon dedicated entirely to our teachers. The atmosphere lit up with heartfelt speeches thanking our mentors, followed by energetic live singing sessions and dance performances that had everyone cheering. To top it all off, we shared delicious food and refreshments while our teachers sat back as the true guests of honor. Seeing the people who constantly guide us relaxing, smiling, and genuinely enjoying the moment was easily the highlight of the entire day.

Teaching isn’t just about delivering lessons from a textbook; it’s about leading with patience, dedication, and care. Days like today give us a small glimpse into their world and remind us how grateful we are for everything they do behind the scenes.
